Discovering Microsoft Power Point Again
The Microsoft PowerPoint keeps getting better with each new version. Embarrassingly, I only found out that I could actually create a photo album and video intro/outro recently. Of course, it's not Adobe After Effects but it's simple and good enough to do what's necessary.
Now Microsoft has done a good job with Windows 10. With each new version comes incredible functionality. Most of what I like in Mac OS X is already available in Windows 10. My only hope is that they improve the hibernate mode and font scaling on a 2K or 4K display. The hibernation is not very stable but it's important that I can left and resume what I last did. This should last as long as possible as possible. If one can do a full shutdown or restart at least once every 6 months or a year that would be amazing. A lot of times, after resuming from hibernation, things becomes so slow that I had to reboot the OS. I hope Microsoft will look into this two items mentioned.
Now back to Power Point. I like what they improve on the designer and video animation feature. One can only hope that in the future, they will add animated character into it. Amazing creative charts, quality clips arts and inforgraphic tools begs to be added into future version. But as it is with Power Point 2016, I'm quite impressed with it.
Here's a video of a simple intro that I had created which can be used either as a PowerPoint presentation or incorporated into a video.
